The Guernsey Rugby Academy provides opportunities for children aged 5-18 to play rugby on the Channel Island of Guernsey.

The Academy operates RFU standards and guidelines, including Age Grade Rugby, Kids First and RugbySafe, to provide a safe and enjoyable training environment.

Our coaches, assistant coaches, referees, helpers and other volunteers are DBS checked and appropriately qualified for their role. Where possible they are encouraged to complete training and CPD above and beyond the basic requirements of their role to provide a dynamic and positive team of committed adults.

The Academy promotes the core values of Rugby, which are:

Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship.

The Academy is operated and managed by adult volunteers, with the support of a full time Rugby Development Officer and his Community Rugby Coaching Team.
